If there is something on your mind..

Sometimes something happens and it is hard to be in the present moment. You heard someone said something about you, an event happened, you name it.. And you are playing it over and over again in your head. What can we do?

Ask yourself this question: can I change anything about it or not? If not, then don’t worry about it because you can’t change it. If you can change it, stop worrying as well and start changing it!

I find that most problems I worry about are in the past or in the (imagined) future.. at such moments I try to remember myself to be in the  present moment.

Only in the present moment you can really act from your true being, your true self. You are at this moment not your past or you future. You are the being in the NOW. So remember yourself to be in the NOW. It’s the place where problems often don’t exist.

Start your day positive!

Hello beautiful readers,

From the moment you wake up till the moment you are going to sleep you want to send some positive vibes to the Universe. A great way to do that is to have a morning or evening routine :). Since the day I changed my morning routine to a POSITIVE morning routine things have really changed in my life. I hope this can happen for you as well. Sometimes I don’t have ‘time’ to do it, and when I don’t I really can feel the difference. It’s so important to start your day on a good positive way, I really believe in that!!

My tip is to fill yourself up the first 3o minutes of your day with positive music, or positive affirmations, or positive video clips.. you name it. Start your day with positivity! There is an important reason for this: the first 30 minutes after awakening (and the 30 minutes before going to bed) your brain works slower and therefore can’t protect itself from negative energies. So the last thing you want to do is to actually watch the news first thing in te morning!

So what do I do?

– Next to my bed I have a  piece of paper where I have written my personal affirmations on. When I wake up I read the affirmations aloud and when I go to bed I read the affirmations on the paper. My favourite one is:

‘I live my life open hearted, filled with light and love’.

– Every morning I light up a candle with a positive thought for the day.

– The first 30 minutes I make sure to listen to positive music (loads to find on Youtube) or a positive clip. One of my favourites:

– When I go to bed I try to listen to positive music (with positive lyrics) but I must say that I focus more on my morning routine. I always read my positive affirmations before I go to bed and I always say thanks for at least 5 things before I go to sleep.

I have noticed a huge difference in the way I feel by doing this. I feel everything is possible, I feel empowered and really happy and full of energy. Two weeks ago I also started working out 3 days in a week and that helps me aswell to feel energized and happy I noticed. Also, when I am in a ‘positive flow’ I really notice to see more opportunities in my life.
