Do New Things!

20 Jan

Life is something special and sometimes I take it for granted. My goal is to treat life every day like it is special, grateful to be living my life!

Doing new things is part of enjoying life. To experience new things, to smell new things, to taste new food you’ve never eaten before. I don’t know about you, but I want to experience MORE of the good stuff of this life.. and that means doing NEW things.. don’t take it for granted!!

Instead of taking the same food every time in the same restaurant, do a little crazy: go for the dish you’ve never eaten before, go to the restaurant you’ve never been before! By doing so you’ve experienced just a little bit more of life.

Often, I don’t do new things. I choose for the known path but this time I want to experience more.. I want to embrace life, do new things.. enjoy life and all things in it. I want to eat more different things, I want to travel more, see more, love more, embrace life more!

You and Your Heart

30 Dec

Watch you when you say
What you are and when you blame
Everyone, You broken king
Watch you change the frame or
Watch you when you take your aim
At the sum of everything

Cause you and your heart
shouldn’t feel so far apart
You can choose what you take
Why you gotta break and make it feel so hard

You lay there in the street
Like broken glass reflecting pieces of the sun
But you’re not the flame
You got the people passing by
Because you know what you don’t like
It’s just so easy, it’s just so easy

But you and your heart
Shouldn’t feel so far apart
You can choose what you take
Why you gotta break and make it feel so hard
Oh and you and your heart
Shouldn’t  feel so far apart
You can choose what you take
Why you gotta break and make it feel so hard

You draw so many lines in the sand
Lost the fingernails on your hands
How you’re gonna scratch any backs?
Better hope that time will take our lines away
Take all our lines and

Hope that time will take our lines and
Hope that time will take our lines away
Take all our lines away

Christmas

30 Dec

HOLAAAA! How are you all doing?

I celebrated christmas with my family this year and it was really great! Food was reeeaaallyy delicious and it was so nice to hang out with my brothers, sister and parents again.

How was your christmas? I hope everyone enjoyed themselves like I did!

We are now ending 2011 and I think it is good to start thinking of what your successes were this year. What did you do good in 2011 and what did you do not so good? What is your goal for 2012? Write it down! It will give you some clarity and it will even make you proud of all the things you did good in 2011. I for example totally forgot that I flew alone for the first time this year. Maybe that sounds weird but my whole life I never flew alone, always with OR my family OR other models OR the crew etc. and this year, yes, I took the plane alone :).

What is your list? It is quite fun to make I think, it will make you proud and it will give you clarity to start working on your goal for 2012!

BIG KISSES!

J.K. Rowling

14 Dec

I really love JK Rowling, her story, her books, she just inspires me! Today I found this and I strongly felt to share it with you:

The success story of Joanne Rowling

Her success story has become a subject of public fascination.

In the end of 1999, two years after the publication of her Harry Potter, Joanne Rowling was officially a millionaires. Financially it was a remarkable five years journey which started from cashing social benefits cheques and ended with receiving royalties.

In 2008 Sunday Times Rich List ranked her as the twelfth richest woman in Britain. Forbes ranked Rowling as the forty-eight most powerful celebrity of 2007.

However, this financial part of J. K. Rowling biography does not cover the true story of Joanne Rowling. The most important journey was the journey of making mistakes and taking risks. Joanne admitted that she had been very much afraid of failure and risks when she left university. This was the reason that she did not pursue at that time her only ambition she had ever had, to become a writer.

“I was afraid to risk poverty and disillusionment and devote myself wholeheartedly to the only ambition I had ever had, to be a writer.”
– Joanne Rowling

When she became a single parent with no job and no money, Joanne realized that she had nothing to lose at all. This was the moment that she took a courage to find out her true value as a writer.
